Recon supported the delivery of approximately 106,000 square feet across 8 floors for Databricks at City Center Bellevue. Projects ranged from new construction to occupied renovations, sublease renovations, new expansion floors and an Executive Briefing Center. Despite an accelerated delivery schedule and immediate occupancy needs, Recon ensured each space was carefully coordinated, removing remnants of past tenants and aligning every floor with Databricks’ brand and workplace standards.

Recon was engaged by the client one month prior to project completion to assume project management leadership for a 48,000 SF Bellevue office expansion at The Eight. With occupancy approaching, Recon quickly conducted a comprehensive project deep-dive to assess progress, identify outstanding risks, and align contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure a successful delivery. The two-floor workplace includes an interconnecting stair, a large two-story social hub, café and back-of-house prep kitchen, and additional amenity and collaboration spaces designed to support employee engagement and gathering.

Recon provided pre-construction and construction support for a software company Headquarters expansion at Lincoln Square South in Bellevue. The project required early coordination with design partners, contractors, and local jurisdiction to navigate approvals and ensure a smooth transition from planning through construction. The workplace program included a large gaming theater, executive boardroom, conferencing suites, kitchenette, and expansive open office areas designed to support both collaboration and focused work.

Recon provided project management leadership for the delivery of a 120,000 RSF global financial technology headquarters located in downtown Seattle. The large-scale tenant improvement required careful coordination across multiple floors, integrating complex workplace environments designed to support a global workforce and diverse work styles. The project included highly programmed amenity floors featuring a grand reception experience, large café and servery for daily lunch, an All Hands gathering space, and multi-purpose combinable conference rooms.

Pre-construction, construction, move management and decommissioning support for their relocation to Lincoln Square South totaling approximately 30,000SF. Project consisted of reusing a significant amount of the existing space while adding in additional open office areas, numerous private offices, all hands space, new network and wireless deployment and AV upgrades throughout. The project also included extensive planning of existing furniture, new furniture needs and lease restoration and furniture removal from their current office.

Recon has worked with Van Ness Feldman since the start of the pandemic assisting them in real estate strategy and planning for their office relocation and renovations. In 2020, Recon managed the move of Van Ness Feldman’s Seattle office to 2nd & Seneca Building in downtown Seattle. Following their two year sublease, Recon managed the renovation of their reception/lobby, built a new cafe and upgraded their existing conference rooms.

The Recon team worked with FAVROS Law to plan, execute and deliver their new office on Seattle’s waterfront adjacent to the Seattle Sculpture Park. This project was approximately 20,000sf that included new private offices, open office support desking, a new and refined lobby and reception and a beautiful new kitchen and cafe adjacent to their private deck overlooking Elliott Bay. This project included special attention and construction of acoustical treatment to reduce the noise transfer from office to office.

Recon had the opportunity to partner with an innovative client that is a major player in the gaming industry. We assisted them with the relocation and new build of their research and development lab in Woodinville, WA. This project was a mix of support office, workshop, wet lab, warehouse and shipping. Scope included new electrical service and increased HVAC requirements for their large CNC machines and specialty equipment.

Amidst and following the COVID-19 pandemic our client wanted to build an exciting and collaborative office experience to promote a safe return to office. This space is a 10,000sf expansion to their existing traditional open office that included a large inviting reception with interview rooms, multiple size meeting rooms ranging from three people to thirty people and fun, unique and comfortable open office work areas. This space and furniture is multi-functional with no assigned seating.

Recon was introduced to MicroVision during their new lease negotiations for a two building property in Redmond, WA. One of the buildings was approximately 36,000sf and was an existing two story office building that we planned and renovated for MicroVisions new office. The second building was a neighboring multi-tenant building which MicroVision leased the bottom floor to build and out relocate their research and development labs to further their products in Lidar technology.

MKA has been in the iconic Rainier Tower building in downtown Seattle for decades. Over these decades they have performed multiple partial renovations, finish upgrades and expansions. In 2021, MKA made the decision to perform a full demolition and rebuild of their 2-floors at Rainier Tower and Recon was selected to support and manage this project. The attention to design, quality and details of this project were unmatched and the end result was a beautiful new state-of-the-art office space.

Following a small expansion project a year prior Recon was called on to plan, execute and deliver a two floor phased renovation project with an intricate new internal stair. This project pushed the design limits and innovation and resulted in a beautiful, bright and fun collaborative office space. The new internal stair was designed to capture the views of Lake Washington while having a unique shape and infrastructure surrounding it to promote employee engagement.

Recon partnered with Highspot starting in 2019 to manage the design and construction of their new headquarters on Elliott Ave in Seattle, WA. The project was highly collaborative with the client, design team, furniture team, audio visual team and the clients in-house marketing team. Over three years Recon supported Highspot in building over five floors of office totaling 135,000sf which included a large entertaining and serving kitchen with a coffee barista, training rooms, open office desking, team rooms, collaborative open breakout rooms all combined with easy to use audio visual systems.

Recon worked with Dreambox Learning through 2021 to manage their office design, construction and relocation in downtown Bellevue, WA. Their new office was built on two floors at the Symetra Center in which both floors were fully demolished and built back to a fun and inviting new office. The project was managed fully remote for the majority of the process due to the COVID-19 pandemic but the team rallied around the challenge and safely and successfully completed the project.

Recon joined The Spur Group team in the sublease and relocation of their office from Redmond to Bellevue, WA. The overall construction of the project was led by the landlord’s team but Recon played a vital role in the tenant’s management of direct trades like low voltage, audio visual, security, furniture, graphics and move management. All parties partnered to maintain the overall schedule and integration of the tenant’s vendors for a successful project completion.

Recon joined the Accolade team just weeks before the construction of two floors at 1201 Third in downtown Seattle, WA. The project schedule and scope was overwhelming for the Accolade real estate team which was located out-of-state therefore Recon assisted in local construction management support services. Once the initial office space was successfully built and occupied the team scheduled and managed the phased construction of an internal structural stair that required a longer permitting process. The stair was constructed off hours while maintaining a quiet and clean space for Accolade and their employees to work during the day.

Recon was honored to work with Commercial Office Interiors (now InsideSource of WA) on their fun and cool office and showroom in Seattle, WA. Recon has worked on many projects with COI over the years but being selected to partner with them on their own office and showroom was very rewarding. The showroom aspect of the project led to a lot of intricate and exciting details to showcase furniture, demountable walls, product libraries and the overall hospitality vibe of the project.

As a leading business jet completion center that provides custom aircraft interiors for their clients, Greenpoint Technologies embarked to build a new office in Bothell, WA. This project was highly collaborative with their interior design team and the project architect to showcase their abilities and their design accolades in their office. The project included elevated and sophisticated client meeting rooms, a design studio, large training room with integrated audio visual system and an open and fun break room for their employees.

In 2018, Recon partnered with TallyCM to manage the construction and renovation of the existing BMW Seattle service center and showroom in downtown Seattle, WA. The project was phased by building with the service center renovation first. The service center scope included fully remolding the customer facing areas with new BMW finish standards and enclosing the service drive. Once the service center was completed the renovation and facade upgrade of the sales building began. The scope included a new front entry, new stucco facade, new enclosed delivery center and a complete renovation of the two story interior showroom.
